Too bad they pushed back "Joey and the Husband", but this sounds good too.

Strange, but all previews said that it was Landes. Great to see Bob, and not to mention Mike from Ed (Josh Randell)! Now we just need Carol Vessey to show up on NBC (and Nancy, who to me was the hottest thing on Ed). Tom Cavanaugh was just on Scrubs again as JDs brother.

No, you're thinking of Steve Oedekerk. Bob Odenkirk is the "Bob" of Mr. Show with Bob and David.

Yeah, that was the best surprise, seeing Dr. Burton on Joey.

I thought it was an "ok" episode - not one of the better ones IMHO.

What kept me watching was that I wanted to see Joey get some sort of redemption against "Brian Michael David Scott" at the end of the episode, but that never happened.

And I guess the cute landlord had the week off!

Just about the only halfway decent line the agent has gotten so far.

Do yourself a favor and run to the store and buy all four seasons. Call off from work and watch all the episodes. Then once you have discovered how transcendent it is you can send me $20 in the mail as tribute for showing you the greatest sketch comedy show of all time!

Thanks, but I have enough trouble finding time to watch the DVDs I already own.

It was a joke, hence the picture of James Lipton....

Seriously, it's a great show, if you're interested they air edited versions on TBS Fridays really late at night.

In this week's Entertainment Weekly, they mention that Joey's agent, Bobbi,
Spoiler:
is going to become more ingrained in the cast (i.e. no longer a semi-regular). Yikes.

"It's Brian Michael David Scott, Joey."

"Hey you added a 'Joey'!"

Glad to see him back on the small screen, but I will always remember him as Mike Burton from Ed.

Anyway, what a terrible episode last night. I'm thinking of dropping this show.

I liked the ending. Classic Joey

And although, it was nice to see Mike Burton again, his part was pretty lame.

I'm sorry, but I'm really trying to like this show and it's just not happening. I haven't laughed at anything since the pilot, and I rarely even smile at any of the jokes.

The fundamental problem with the series(aside from the horrific writing) is that the main character is a complete moron. Joey's arguably dumber than he was on Friends, and that's saying something. If you're gonna design a show around a guy who makes Forrest Gump look like a candidate for MENSA(thank you Free Enterprise for that line ), you better have one helluva solid supporting cast around him, and there isn't one standout actor among them.

And as if this show was painful enough lately, they had Bob Odenkirk on last night and even he wasn't funny. I didn't think that was possible.

I kind of feel like I"m still only watching this because its Joey, and not because i'm really enjoying it......

I think if it were just a regular show then I would have probably given up on it lately

I'm also finding this show to be harder and harder to watch. Granted, it has a few good lines thrown in, but overall, it seems very forced and awkward to me. I'm thinkin' I'm gonna let my VCR take Thursday nights off.
