I'll go with Rescue Me

For some reason I didn't find Scrubs funny from the little bits I'd catch during the first season. I caught the second season premiere and loved it. I now consider it the best show on TV. I absolutely would not call it a sitcom though. For me sitcoms are multi-camera shows usually with laugh tracks. Scrubs also has a great dramatic moment every episode, so I'd probably consider it a dramedy.
As for this thread, I consider the poll kind of pointless since Lost and Rescue Me are obviously the 2 best. I would've waited until Fox was able to premiere their new shows and then made the thread: "Favorite fall show besides Lost." Rescue Me shouldn't be on there because it's had a whole season vs. only a couple of episodes for most of the other shows.

I voted for Lost. It's also the only new show that I've been watching.

Wow. Honestly I'd say it's a tossup between Lost and Rescue Me. If I had to pick one, I'd say Rescue Me.

Another vote for "Lost".
I've enjoyed "Kevin Hill" as well. This is the first time in years I've put any time into scripted shows.
Hopefully, the ones I like won't get cancelled.

I only watch three new programs -- Lost, Boston Legal, CSI: NY (watching TV consumes a lot of time and much of it is better spent away from the tube... especially after having roomed with roommates who spent half their awake time wasting away in front of the TV). I'd say Lost is the best show of the three, probably becaues the other two tread very familiar territory.

I'd have to say Rescue me was the best show of the new season. I really enjoyed the hell out of it.
I'll give props to Quintuplets for such a drastic turn around from the first few episodes, which were god awful. The show is actually pretty damn funny now.

There are just too many good new shows on for me to pick. The only thing on the list that I don't watch is CSI:NY, but I do watch Jack & Bobby are really like it.
For me, it would be between J&B, Lost, Desperate Housewives, and Veronica Mars. The rest are good, but not as good as the aforementioned, IMO.

Lost is most definitely number one in my book. The only shows that beat it in my opinion are Gilmore Girls and...well, I guess that's the only one that I love more than Lost. I'm quite loyal to NYPD Blue since I've seen every episode (most 4-5 times), but boy is Lost fantastic. I love the first season of Alias, second and third are still good but not as fantastic. Oh, and also love The O.C. - can't wait for Alias and O.C. to start up again. Lost easily ties if not beats out these other favorites of mine.
Desperate Housewives is a close second - adore the campy-ness of it all.
Also really enjoying Veronica Mars and Life as We Know It.
All in all, ABC has gone from only two must-see shows (Alias and NYPD Blue) to five (enjoying Boston Legal, too) in one fell swoop. Kudos for putting "real" (not reality) shows back on tv. Their ad from several years ago with the yellow background and black newspaper print lettering stating "I Love TV" is fitting again.
As to the other new shows, Jack and Bobby is ok, but sometimes really too sugary-sweet. Hated the Mountain after two eps. LAX is mediocre at best, Kevin Hill isn't much better, and neither is Joey. Clubhouse has potential, but it's merely cute and fairly innocuous at this point. Medical Investigation has a good cast, but it's on par with csi - slicked up for the masses, no real heart, far-fetched/convenient solutions.
