Greatest episode of anything

What is your all-time favorite episode of anything. Has to be a single episode, no 2 parters.
I'll go with the Cape Fear Simpsons by a hair over the Cheers when Cliff was on Jeopardy.

Oh get a job? Just get a job? Why don't I strap on my job helmet, and squeeze into a job cannon, and fire off into job land, where jobs grow on jobbies?

I can narrow it down to three (in chronological order):

The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd - "Here's a Little Known Story About Ingrid Bergman"

Twin Peaks - The episode with the "rock and bottle test" and Agent Cooper's first dream sequence

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "Once More, With Feeling"

The one where we find out who killed Laura Palmer on Twin Peaks.

Spoiler:
this is the episode where Leyland kills Maddie and the old waiter comes up to Cooper in the Roadhouse and says "I'm so sorry..."

This episode was both heart-breaking and scary as hell.

"It is happening again. It is happening again." I still get creeped out thinking about it, and it's been over a decade.

Yikes, that's tough. Some contenders:

Vitameatavegemin
Requiem for a Heavyweight
Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge
Sleeping in Light
Chuckles Bites the Dust
The Body
The $99,000 Answer
City on the Edge of Forever
Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth

And, let's round it out to 10 with Sammy's Visit.

Of course, hands down, the obvious winner is Jessie's Song. Why even bother discussing what we all know is true.

Jessie's Song has a lot going for it - especially Hot Sunday. Everyone seems to overlook the episode that aired just before it: Miss Bayside. That would be my choice.

Wow some really good picks, I love both of those Twin Peak ones.

My favorite is probably The Sopranos - Pine Barrens though. Perfect

Seinfeld - The Soup Nazi

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Hush

I'm not that big a fan of E.R. but Love's Labor Lost from the first season was one of the best hours of TV I've ever seen.

Scrubs - "My Screw Up"

And just about every other episode of Scrubs is great, too. Or at least near great.

I'm going to let you all in on a secret. I've never told anyone this before, but because I like this forum so much, I feel I owe it to you all to be honest. Please keep this to yourselves, though. If it gets out, I'm not sure we could ever recover.

Spoiler:
There were television shows before 1990

19? Where DO you find the time? I can't keep up with contemporary TV and I was alive during most of the time TV was showing sitcoms.
