Jimmy Kimmel Live - Allergic reaction on air?

Anyone see Jimmy Kimmel last night?

Saw this on the drudgereport:

LATE NIGHT COMEDY HOST RUSHED TO HOSPITAL IN ON-AIR MEDICAL SCARE: During a live interview on ABC TV Wednesday night, the face of Jimmy Kimmel began to swell, his voice went raspy, and his eyes subsequently closed shut. Immediately after the show he was taken to a Hollywood area hospital where he was administered treatment and is said to be recovering from an undisclosed allergic reaction...

Yeah, at the beginning of the show he sounded like he was sick, but I didn't get to watch the end of the show. Darn! I'll be watching tonight, that's for sure.

He was back on, he showed the picture Lara Means posted, of himself in the hospital. His eyes seemed a bit puffy, but he also seemed ok.

He overdosed on Advil, or Aspirin (not sure which). He took about 8 pills, and had an allergic reaction. They did a montage of his transformation through the show, and it was kinda creepy. He started off with a raspy voice, and ended up with eyes close to being swelled shut.

News reports said it was Advil. Allergic reactions like that are NOT fun.

No, he was filming a scene in which his character was taking Advil. He overdosed because it was supposed to be 'candy' advil, but...as we all know, it was the real thing.

R.I.P. Bruce.

Bruce Lee died from brain swelling due to a hyper-sensitive reaction to medication that an actress he was rehearsing with had given him for his headache.

They were rehearsing at her apartment and he went and laid down after taking the medicine. She found him unresponsive and called for help but it was too late.

His son was killed in a gun incident while filming a movie years later.

Please - everyone knows that Bruce was killed by the chinese Mafia for leaving china, and the inner circle of Kung Fu Masters for teaching his knowledge to westerners.

Nobody knows for sure, none of you were there. And stop pulling scenes from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story.

That was his son Brandon Lee. They wanted to end Bruce Lee's lineage, so they put real bullets in the gun instead of blanks.

IMDD says "gunshot wound from faulty prop revolver, accidental." Of course it was...

I didn't have to be there to know that the cause of death was swelling of the brain. There is some question as to if the headache medication caused it since they also found marijuana in his system. It is possible it was an alergic reaction to that since he had a serious one previousley to hashish. If they had handled
things differently he may have survived as he did with the reaction to the hash.

As for the intentional bullet with Brandon Lee, I assume you are kidding. It was a negligent accident with a fragment being propelled into his body when a blank was fired.

Well ..... getting back on topic:

I caught the end of that show - noticed he looked really funny but just assumed that he was under-the-weather and still had to do the shows. Didn't know it was so freakish
