Speaking of....the Providence, RI CBS affiliate is not showing this episode.
The producers claim that this script was already written prior to that tragedy.

Hmm.. They nail both the Baltimore snipers and the RI Fire before they happened. Those CSI Miami writers must be onto something.

Their's no way I believe this ep was already in the works. To much time has elapsed between the event in RI and this.

I buy their story about the Sniper episode. I think a day or two after it began their was talk about that episode.

They actually ripped off the DC sniper case in the school shooting episode where the student shooter practiced on a tree in his backyard (just like John Muhammed did in Tacoma months before he made it to the DC area).

I'm pretty well done with the CSI shows.
I was forced to watch this one and I couldn't help laughing when one of the CSI's called 911 to report the fire and Horatio showed up in his hummer to help pull ppl out of the fire before the fire department arrived.
I don't expect reality on crime dramas, but there is only so much i can take.

I thaught last's night show was a bit exploitive from the Feb 20th tragedy..
The show is slowly turning into Law & Order..
"Ripped from the headlines" CSI Mami style!!
Cheers

I thought the guest stars were interesting in that they were involved in SciFi series where they were 'lost' .. Ben Browder from FarScape and Chokotay (sp?) (and can't recall the actor's name) from Voyager. Also, with "Crichton" guest-starring, was DJ Scorpius a coincidence?

Robert Beltrane. too bad he only had a 2 minute role
and normally I'm not one to say things like this, but it's a bit early to be using ideas from the Providence fire, which I think they did, I highly doubt they came up with this on their own prior to that

Nothing like Chakotay banging a hooker! He can afford to only do a 2 minute appearance, since he's living off all that Star Trek money.
I do agree, that they probably should've held off with this episode until next season. I don't usually say stuff like that, but it was pretty soon stuff after.

I'm really starting to believe that Caruso has it in his contract that his character must look off into the sunset at the end of each episode.
