There were some definate good points with Jack and Palmer and the part where Tony called Carrie's bluff was amazing.
Sorry, I just don't see what most of you do. I can suspend my disbelief A LOT and this is just WAAAAY beyond even my limits.

Far, far too much of Kim and her Perils of Pauline act, too much convenient nonsense (does anyone in California actually own a John Deere hat? I guess it's possible...), not enough real drama.
And now (Kim's future-related)

The more I think about this episode, the more I'm convinced this show desperately needs Kim Bauer.
The writers clearly have some deep-seeded need for silly and cliched storylines. Kim servers as the bad idea dumping ground, and helps keep the main storylines cougar free.
She disappears for two weeks, and what do we get? Randomly Evil Rednecks of Doom and Energizer Jack--he just needed that extra excessive jolt of electricity (after, of course, the doctor declared the situation hopeless), and he was almost good as new.
So I'm hoping they bring back Kim. Let a rogue circus kidnap her and threaten to inject her with testosterone so that she can be their bearded lady. She may do nothing but suck, but at least I know I can mostly ignore the television when she's on.

I think it's great that we had no Kim tonight again. But not because she's brainless or anything. I mean, a character doesn't need to be seen each and every week for us to know they are still involved in the "day." Not everyone has eventful hours all day long.
