Oz 2/16/03

Pretty good episode tonight. I don't know where this Shillinger/Keller/Beecher storyline is going. That night club owner guy rules. I would have liked him to come in last season to see him develop. Should be interesting to see what happens to Oz now since Warden Glenn is dead now too. I thought for sure they were going to blame the death on McManus and put him in Oz, but they didn't. Only one more episode left

Oz... 2/16/03.

One more episode left...

* Tons of new inmates introduced, with the most notable being Shamus O'Reily (Cyril and Ryan's absuive father). This should be real fun next week.

* Friggin Joel Gray continues to destroy everyone in his path. It sucks that we weren't given a better explanation as to why he killed Said. RIP Omar White. You were one of my faves.

* The whole Schillinger/Beecher/Keller angle is awesome. When Keller tied up Beecher, that was the most intense 5 minutes of OZ ever. Can't wait to see how it all ends next week.

* Robson is HIV+? Guess Cutler's protection wasn't worth it, eh?

* Couldn't care less about Rebadow/Busmalis and their respective love interests.

* No guest narrator??? C'mon Tom Fontana, give us Adebisi next week!

* Warden Glynn is dead. Damn, that was pretty uneventful (especially his hooking up with McManus' ex-wife). Next week should be chaotic.

Damn was that him, I didn't even notice. I guess he liked the shower incident a little too much.

Good episode, way too many loose ends that won't be explained next week though.

Any speculation about what's really happening w/ Keller?

Spoiler:
I'm thinking triplecross, myself. Playing Vern and helping Beecher finally. Maybe I'm just a romantic...

I'm predicting...

Spoiler:
During the play, Keller switches the prop knife for a real one and Beacher kills Schillinger with it by "accident"

I'm not up on my MacBeth so I don't even know if those two characters cross paths.

There's no way they can end w/out Adebisi narrating the show next week.

Great show!

Sam

I was really hoping that Warden Glenn was going to get to the bottom of the conspiracy and the show would end with Governor Devlin getting sent to Oz.

Hot Thang, I think you've got it...

That's essentially what happens in the play.

McManus is going to end up in Oz, or at least accused of murdering Glynn... (just a prediction).

Argh.....

Call me a simplist but this is lame.

The show opened for us with Beecher, and I would rather have had him simply being paroled after living through that and the show ending with all the other characters either doing what they do or some excitement, while Beech ends our journey with him by walking away from Oz never to be the same.

Ah, well...the DVD sets will grow on me.

If there's a guest narrator next week I have a feeling it'll be Glynn.

Noone that died this season should be a guest narrator. They should get Adebisi for the last episode. They should have gotten Kenny Wangler to do this last one too.

Supreme Allah would have been a good one, too!

I'm going to miss this show- I just hope they do the final episode justice, and try to tie some of the loose ends from the past few seasons....
