I thought it was an okay episode. Wesley kissing Fred out of the blue was sort of surprising, but the rest of the episode was more ho-hum, dead-end investigating.
It seems to me like it was Connor who took the soul jar.

Now that was a fun episode of Angelus. Definitely had that "Silence of the Lamb" vibe to it.
So what was with the father's birthday that got Connor all pukey-like?

I'm thinking that someone else is under the influence of something.
I don't think it was Angel who killed Manny a couple of episodes ago. Totally speculation, but my money is on Cordelia.
Oh, and I've decided I like the show "Angelus" better than "Angel."

I loved all the sexual innuendo. This episode had some great lines as well, it was a very well done and fun episode... it said it was directed by Sean Astin...anyone know if it's LOTR Sean Astin (rudy)... anyhow, I really enjoyed the episode and can't wait for next week!

I liked it. Angelus is such a great character and I think DB does a great job playing him. I agree about the Silence of the Lambs vibe. That's the first thing that came to mind when Wes went down there.

I really have no idea who they are going to off. I hope it is Conner. I can't stand watching or listening to the kid who plays him. But if Lorn (SP?) shows up in the credits next week (ala Tara)...

I think I know who it is. I don't want to spoil it for anybody especially those with no willpower so I won't post it. Angelus fell into temptation from Cordy. Women must be his weakness. I am finding Connor extremely annoying!!!!!!!

I want Fred to live. When is Fred gonna ditch Gunn?
They cheaped out on some of the special effects last night. The first 2 vamps that Connor dusted were shown, but the 3rd dusting was shown.

I have no idea who is getting whacked next week, but I wouldn't be sad to see Gunn offed.

I think the Fred-Wes kiss was to show how easily Angelus got inside their heads even though they were "prepared" for Angelus. Once Angelus spelled it out for them, the moment "seemed" right to them and they acted impulsively.

While really predictable, it was a fun episode, and they did an excellent job having Angelus pick apart each of the cast and just prey on their weaknesses. Cheesy cliffhanger since the second we saw them locking the soul in the safe we knew it wouldn't be there when it was reopened, but I still enjoyed the episode.

Good episode. Angelus is one badass mofo. He really did a number on them especially with Fred and Gunn. I was actually hoping that Connor would jump into the cage with Angelus just to see what would happen. Seems like it would be a good fight or knowing the show, Connor would somehow get locked up in the cage.
I can't wait until next week but I thought I saw

While not as good as last week, this ep was still entertaining. More twists in the plot, except maybe at the end, where the finger seems to be pointed at Connor.
I wish they'd kept Gwen, the electro-girl, around.
