Will I Like Charmed?

I have currently become a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I was wondering if I would become a fan of Charmed Is it the same kind of show, but with witches? I was just wondering.

Charmed and Buffy are two very different shows.

Buffy has better writing and is a better overall show, but I find myself watching Charmed more (probably because of Alyssa Milano).

Don't expect Charmed to be nearly as witty as Buffy. Charmed is also a bit more campy than Buffy. Also, it may be difficult to understand the storyline if you only start watching now.

I watched the first/second season of "Charmed: The Shannon Whashername Days", which I liked. They really were not like "Buffy", but then I stopped watching. I know I wouldn't be able to get what's going on now, since the storylines have changed so drastically.

So I guess I would recommend the early episodes of Charmed, if TNT airs them or whatever. At least I can vouch for that.
