"Monk,'' USA's quirky, quite good detective drama was supposed to repeat on ABC for just four weeks as summertime schedule filler. But a funny thing happened: The show started to build an audience for viewer-impaired ABC. So the network has decided to push the debut of "Dinotopia'' back to Thanksgiving and run more episodes of "Monk'' (8 p.m. Thursday) until then. It tells you something when repeats of a cable show are the best new thing on a network's fall schedule.

Monk is great. I really enjoy the show. Although, it would be nice if my wife would stop comparing me to Monk's obsessive behavior (and same name to boot).

I like the show, some of it seems kind of contrived & I wish it had storylines that played out over multiple episodes but over all decent show
