No need for your personal commentary. I help myself fine. The website address posted alone would've sufficed.

I didn't catch that. What did Triumph say to Simon and vice versa?

Triumph just kept on calling him an a-hole while Simond was walking by and then Simon just looked at him (while he was still walking) with huge eyes like a deer caught in headlights.

Anyone else notice that some of Triumph's red carpet comments seemed to be dubbed in later? Ruined the whole thing for me thinking that he actually said nothing there or just thought of a better joke afterwards.

I agree Guess. I was really looking forward to this new Triumph skit. He wasn't really that funny. Oh well.

Yeah I noticed that too. I believe when Christina Aguilera passed by it was in slo mo yet the sound of his voice was still normal. This one was probably his worst out of the 3 i've seen. The other two are the Star Wars one and the dog show.

"So Jon, I hear that you're making a movie about vampires"
"Yup"
"Finally! A role that REQUIRES you to suck!"

I was laughing my arse off last night as I was watching this. But that line was the topper. Like they say, "It's funny because it's true!"

I love that one! I laughed so hard when he was on stage with them, my jaw hurt.
(To "You Give Love a Bad Name")
"Humped a Shar Pei
Pulled out to late
now the bitch
has a litter of eight.
They eat all the Alpo
right off my plate
Why the hell didn't I just masturbate?"
Whoa, I'm a loaded gun...
Here comes Bon Jovi, the pooping's begun.
Look at you guys, have you no shame?
You give poop a bad name."
Crawl back in the butt, from whence you came
You give poop a bad name."

I didn't think too much of the VMA one (couple good lines), but still thought it was better then the Christmas one.

I really was hoping Triumph would be a lot angrier and more vicious toward Eminem--being a puppet caught in the most ridiculous celebrity tiff of the year, he could have gotten away with it. Instead, T decided to take the 'high road'...for me to poop on.

I guess that I'm in the minority on this one.

I thought it was great.

I liked when he said something to David Lee Roth to the effect of DLR being the valet parker

What surprised me was the lack of SpongeBob fans in the audience. I thought it had a huge cult following with the older people like PowerPuff Girls.

Yeah, what was up with that?! The guy asks the crowd if they know a certain character from the show, because people on the internet are saying he is gay, and the crowd goes silent. I thought I heard crickets at one point.

I thought triumph's lines were hilarious, but they were dubbed so it completely ruined it for me. The fact that he actually says those lines to people is what makes it funny.

I agree, the Star Wars and Bon Jovi ones are by far the best.

What makes you guys think they're dubbed?

I understand there was a difference in audio, but that's because Triumph has a mic on his person, and the people passing by had no mics on. As for the celebrities, I'm sure there all more than used to having profanities spewed at them, so why would they flinch?

It just seemed dubbed for some reason. I didn't notice it until GuessWho mentioned it and I went back and watched it again.

With Star Wars and Bon Jovi, Rob Smigel was able to prepare some jokes cuz he knew the subject matter (ie: "note to self, must joke with geeks about pleasing a woman and making parents come pick them up"). He was then able to zing them out when the right time appeared. Smigel is quick, but not that quick.

At the VMAs, while he could prepare knowing some obvious attendees, I'm sure he had no idea David Allen Grier, for ex, would be there. His comment to DAG was obviously dubbed later once he thought of something funny after the fact.

Because Christina Aguilera was in slo mo when he said his comments and they tried to play it out like he was saying it as she passed by. His voice wasn't slo mo'd.
