What's your favorite TV show?
#26
My two favorite shows used to be Buffy and Angel. Buffy started this season good but has gone downhill into a pale, uninteresting shadow of the show I used to love. Angel on the opposite end, started horrible this season and has gotten much better... But I cant really say i eagerly await each new show all that much.
... So I really dont have any favorite show anymore. I pretty regularly tune in to Insomniac, South Park, Junkyard Wars, The Daily Show (which has lost a lot of its great contributing staff), and all the criminology shows on TLC and Discovery, but I could easliy live wihthout them.
I'm in need of somehting new, or at the very least some life pumped back into Angel and Buffy.

The only shows I regularly watch, in order of preference:
1) Six Feet Under
2) Sopranos (season 3 right now is new for me)
3) 24
4) Letterman
5) South Park
6) Osbournes (yeah, it's brand new, but it's freakin' great so far!)
7) Friends (gone way down hill the last 3 episodes, hopefully it'll recover)

All-time? My top 2 are probably Babylon 5 and Mystery Science Theater 3000. Currently, my favorites are Angel and Farscape (anybody remember this show? stupid network...). Oh, and I watch WAY too much Simpsons (I figured this out when I can basically recite every line from every episode from the first half of the series along with the television).

Currently Running....
Buffy
Angel
Dark Angel (I'm a diehard)
Jeremiah (this show is damn good)
X-Files (also going down with ship)
Futurama
The Simpsons
Enterprise (still trying to decide on this one)
Dennis Miller Live
South Park
Smallville
Witchblade (when it starts up again in June)
I recorded The Sheild but haven't watched it yet.
I'm catching up with The Soprano's on DVD so I can watch the rest of it.
I like Farscape but don't know what happened to it. I think it's coming back in April and I will try to catch it.
I was watching 24, missed a few and will have to hope for reruns. I do like what I saw so far.
Show's that I might not have seen all episodes of, may not be currently on, and I catch when I can:
The Vicar of Dibley
Monarch of the Glenn
Balleykissangel
Keeping up Appearances
Parkinson
Show's that I will watch until I drop dead(these are also catch when I can):
Babylon 5
Crusade
Star Trek
TNG
DS9
American Gothic
Mash
Murphy Brown
Night Court
Martial Law
Hill Street Blues
St. Elsewhere
probably a few others I can't think of at the moment....
On top of that there have been some cool stuff I've recorded from Discovery Science and Discovery Civilization.
I think I win the geek TV have no life Award.

Let's see:
24 . By far the best TV show in a long time. I love the pace, the story - it's an intense hour worth of TV.
Honorable Mention:
Will & Grace - I missed the second season completely, but have
been watching this since. Great comedy.
Malcolm in the Middle
Bernie Mac Show
Law & Order
Alias
Sex & the City

Old shows:

And for the guy above that mentioned the Beverly Hillbillies. My favorite quote from that show, that I'm sure he will understand is Jethro saying. "I sure wish I knew what all these buttons are fer."

Don't know for sure, but I know one thing: it won't be Baby Bob. Law & Order used to be my favorite, but not this season. With the exception of a few episodes, the writing has really fallen off and Elizabeth Rohm couldn't act in a grade school play, let alone an Emmy-award winning drama.
