Um, they all do. Broccoli is something like 8% protein, and all fruits, veggetables & grains contain some protein. It's just a myth that we "need" such a huge amount of protein. I mean, human breast milk (the most perfect food) is only 5% protein.

The Standard American Diet (SAD) just happened to contain huge amounts, which usually gets excreted because the body doesn't use it.

It's actually quite hard to be protein deficient. It really only occurs in famine or aneroxia cases. If you're getting enough calories, you're getting enough protein.

Thankfully next week's Dawson's Creek is a repeat.

I already have 2 shows I watch at 8 on Wednesdays (Enterprise & Dawson's) and I only have two cable boxes. Survivor makes 3.

If all 3 are on the same night, I'll dump Enterprise because they usually repeat that on Sunday nights at 7 pm.

Getting this thread away from a vegetarian debate and back on topic...

I think Sarah's days are numbered.
She will probably be the next to go from the Mammaries tribe.
She doesn't do any work at all (Sean too for that matter) and she wises off about it too.
Real smart.
I hope she stays so we can see more of her (.) (.) 's.

The Rotu tribe is looking very strong.
Kathy will be the first to go if they loose an immunity challenge.

My gut feeling is that Gina is going next if she stay on the "holier than thou" track that she's on. Gina may be a hard worker, but she also lacks tact in her comments at tribal council. The numbers are stacking up against both her and Hunter. (BTW, supposedly Gina and Hunter became a couple afterwards).

Survivor's never been about working hard in your camp, but rather making alliances that force you to survive at the expense of others that piss you off. This season's Maraamu tribe mimics Samburu? (Lindsay's tribe where hard workers got the boot early) from last season.

It was pretty funny how Rob kept that stuff in his mouth for long, making such a horrible face.

It would have been much easier to hurry up and swallow and get the taste out of his mouth. Instead, it looked like he made it ten times worse for him.

Heh heh, I just realized that it is easy for me, as a woman, to recommend the "hurry up and swallow" technique.

I'm totally with you das on the two week switch of "Survivor" to Wednesday night. Without "Survivor" on Thursday night, there's nothing to watch for three whole days - until "Six Feet Under" and "Queer as Folk" on Sunday nights.

If it ever comes down to "Survivor" versus "Enterprise" - I'm sorry but "Enterprise" wins. With these two episodes of "Survivor," it's become apparent that the only real rules that have changed this time around were the ones concerning free food and water.

And could some "genius" executive please break up the logjam of Tuesday night's programming? I'd love to be able to watch the new Andy Richter show, but it conflicts with "Buffy".

Sadly, my pre-historic cable company - AT&T "Broadband" doesn't even permit me to tape one channel while watching another. I'm pretty sure I couldn't even hook up a Tivo to my cable. Seriously, if anyone has a choice between AT&T "Broadband" (which is anything but "broad") and literally anything else, pick the latter.

AT&T is suckekekeke.

Actually, The Amazing Race is just premiering on Monday the 11th. After that, the second episode will air Wednesday the 13th, in it's regular timeslot of 9 PM. So we'll have the Survivor/Amazing Race combo for at least the next 2 weeks.

In regards to last night...Kathy scares me, but I hope she sticks around. Same with Sarah. Sure they're both liabilities at this point, but Survivor needs that conflict. I think previous versions became less exciting when people like Lindsey, Jerri, Brandon, etc. were voted off.

And my favorite shot of the night had to be the look Rob shot Neleh after she won immunity for Rotu. It was priceless.

Am I the only one who thinks producer Mark Burnett likely paid a visit to the cast and recommended that Sarah not be voted off for uh...demographic reasons? (I.E. Like the testimony from the first cast that they were told not to vote Rudy off early on)

Being a 32 year old man, this info doens't do me a damn bit of good.

However, maybe that's why Rob wants to keep Sarah around so badly.

Why are they premiering The Amazing Race on a Monday? The only thing I can think of is to shoe-horn the finale into the last week of May for Sweeps.

Obligatory mention of Sarah's boobies.

Anyone else think it was hilarious when Sarah talked about Rob and said "oh yeah theres definate attraction blah blah blah" and then Rob says "Well I like her but its great how I can get her to listen to me and vote for who I tell her to". Rob is totally manipulating her its great stuff.

I too am pleased Sarah's cans didn't get canned this week. In fact, there was even an outstanding cleavage shot ... I think it was in the first half hour during the Momma bitchin'. I'd post it, but I foolishly deleted the episode from my sweet, sweet TiVo.

Who'd thought that the goofball, Rob, would turn out to be such a "playa"? LOL!

Whew, I thought I was going to have a dilemma next week. Although I'm getting sick of DC being reruns.

As much as I love (.)(.)'s......Sarah needs to go. I keep thinking about everyone carrying that boat into shore with her just sitting on top of it like the queen. And tehn to say that she's purposely
sand bagging to conserve her energy...if I was voting she'd be gone.

I think the gross food eating challenge isn't tough enough. Perhaps they should resort to cannibalism in the next Survivor (not canniblizing other cast members, like eating an already dead person).
