I know Marvel hasn't been real happy with the way that Disney has released the 1990's Spider Man cartoon series.

I'd love to see entire season sets for the 1960's Fantastic Four show, as well as the 1990's Spider Man series. I'm not holding my breath, however...

(I do think they'll come out eventually, it's just going to take some time and negotiation to make it happen.)

It's been a while since I've seen the Spider-man cartoon, but I seem to recall the sky always being this funky, multi-colored mish-mash of pollution. The video of the opener above shows all blue skies, am I remembering wrong?

"Action is his reward!"

-- Xander Harris, arguing with the rest of the Scoobies over whether Spiderman ever gets paid. They just stare at him.

The funky colored skies are more from the second and third seasons when Ralph Bakshi took over production of the show. The first season was more traditional in terms of the look and the villains used.

Electric Company was a educational/entertainment kid's show on PBS back in the 70's. Spiderman was a recurring character on the show with short segments such as this.
