I'm glad I didn't go to a school like Winslow, I would've been terrified just to walk in the damn door.

It's got to be that or she is locked up in the basement like she did to him.

I do, too. While we are asking ?'s, do you think that teacher is going to shoot her ex-student/lover next week? Probably have to wait til fall for the answer to that.

Yeah, I agree that he probably just locked her up in the basement. And as a judge I would find nothing wrong with that at all

Probably locked in basement due to loud music being played which could be heard from outside the apartment.

Like everyone else i think she's in the basement. I dont think Lauren will shoot the kid unless he's attacking her or something.

He is totally Norman Bates. He probably killed her and locked her body in the basement.

atleast he is still around, they have a pretty high turnover rate on characters other than teachers, well actually on some teachers too. Milton and the wresting coach were both pretty important characters but just got thrown out. They introduced a bunch of students just to kill them off and sent others away. It's almost like Star Trek, when you see a new crew member have a predominant role you know they are gonna be killed off. Its the same thing here, any new student that has problems will be gone in a few episodes.

I'll be a sheep and say that the mom's in the basement locked up, too. Otherwise, if she was dead in the basement, there would probably be a nasty smell, huh?

Also, I'll say that yes, Lauren shoots her ex-boyfriend/student. She and Harry will then get back together because of their mutual affection for firearms.

i think that he killed his mom (don't think he would be able to keep a grown woman tied/locked up)....and i think the gun shot is probably going to be a flashback to him pulling the trigger on her (don't know where he gets the gun though). I think the fading to black was to throw you off the scent and fool you into thinking that Lauren shoots the stalker.

this show is cool.

I agree with that; I think there is a good chance he killed his mom. He definitely did something to her. And I also think that gunshot in the end was from something different in the show, they always do that kind of stuff in previews to throw people off.

Spoiler of season finale

Spoiler:
Lauren did not shoot her ex-boyfriend/stalker guy. I was cracking up when the guy's parents had that little meeting with Lauren and Steven. They showed the kid's mom tied up in the basement with duct tape over her mouth...she's still alive. I was really happy to see Guber win the most inspirational faculty award (or whatever it was). I got goose bumps watching the seniors graduate and hug Steven (the principal).

There wasn't even a gun shot in the season finale. That's lame how they made last week's episode look like Lauren shot the guy...it kind of pisses me off that there was a gunshot in last week's preview of the season finale and there wasn't even a gunshot in the finale. That's like totally false advertising. I wouldn't have minded if the gunshot related to something else...just as long as they had a damn gunshot!

Anyway, I thought it was a good season finale...I love this show!

Edited to add the 2nd paragraph in the spoiler.

You broke out--let me see if I can get this straight--you went down the incinerator chute, on the mine car, through the tunnels to the power plant, under the steam engine--that was really cool, by the way--and into the cistern through the intake pipe, but how, in the name of Zeus's BUTTHOLE, did you get out of your cell? I only ask because in our current situation, well, it could prove to be useful information, MAYBE!

That's what Fox does with all its shows! Like on Boot Camp they showed an explosion and said something like "when something goes wrong, one squad member will pay the ultimate price!" Yeah, the 'ultimate price' was getting voted out!

So are they going to have all new kids next season?
Since supposedly 90% of the kids we know graduated,
who are we going to watch next season?

SPOILER...

Also, will suspending Lauren from teaching over the
summer ever come into play? Next season will probably
just start at the beginning of the fall term and will
not ever be touched on again. I thought this episode
stunk. All kinds of things happening that will probably
never be used again in the future. Sigh.
