Printer went on fritz so getting a new one with built in scanner. What spec do I look for to get at least 500x500 resolution of a cd cover/insert scan?

Re: Scanner question
I guess the obvious answer would be to look at the scanner resolution. For example the Lexmark x7675 has: Scan Resolution, Optical 600 x 1200 dpi so that would cover 500 X 500.

Re: Scanner question
Just make sure it's real, native resolution, not "interpolated" or whatever they call it. Sometimes they use that number to double one or both of the real numbers.
