HDDVD Player Remote Problems

I just recently bought a venturer Hd-dvd player to use as an upconverting dvd player. The problem is, the remote is also activating my toshiba hd -a30. Any ideas on how to get around this?

Re: HDDVD Player Remote Problems

The Venturer is a rebranded Toshiba HD-A3, so there's probably not. Since the A30 is a more capable player, why not just use that one exclusively?

Re: HDDVD Player Remote Problems

Mainly because of the wear and tear issue. I want it to last as long as possible.

Re: HDDVD Player Remote Problems

Put some foil in front of the A30's IR sensor. when you want to use the A30, move it to the other player.
