software to make newsletters
my wife wants to make a newsletter at work. is Adobe still the way to go or is there another way? I know you can do it on MS Word, but she was looking for something better.

Re: software to make newsletters
Publisher is "better" than Word is for this task, but that isn't saying much. It is included with most flavors of Office, however, so she may already have it at her disposal. There is a considerable learning curve (and jump in price) for a true desktop publishing program like Quark or InDesign. PageMaker has been discontinued for quite some time, but we have clients who still use it regularly/exclusively.
Will she be printing it at work? I have not used Scribus, but I have used PDFs exported from Scribus, and they are...not good, something to consider if she will be outsourcing the printing. |

Re: software to make newsletters
Our company uses and online website, it sends the newsletter in HTML format via email.
http://www.constantcontact.com/ We looked in to this for years and this was by far the best option available. I can send you an example of our newsletter if you like. |
