DVD's wont play

Newbie looking for help. Havent seen anything similar in any posts. I have several (now) DVD's that no longer play. The players say they cant read this type of disc. Repeatable on two identical Panasonic players and my new Samsung Blu-ray. All are production DVD's, no copies. Some are fairly new (the 3rd disc in the Firefly series) played maybe 10 times. Yes one, two and four play without a problem. Used copy (Redbox) of The Bank Job, played twice now is unreadable. I have tried a disc repair but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?
