Google Chrome and Hotmail - Can't click to open messages.

This just started yesterday.
I login to hotmail via the website through Google Chrome, I can see the list of emails I have, but cannot click on them to view them. IE works fine though.

I have the latest version of Chrome, all the latest Windows Updates, and have tried it with Trend Micro IS turned off as well.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Re: Google Chrome and Hotmail - Can't click to open messages.

It's an issue with Hotmail not detecting what browser Chrome is. They have a workaround -

Quote:
[r6482] Fixes issues with composing mail and switching folders in Hotmail. Hotmail still does not properly recognize Google Chrome, so to use the site, you have to add the following to the shortcut you use to launch Google Chrome:

--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1 Safari/525.19"

Right-click the Google Chrome shortcut, click Properties, and paste the line above to the end of the Target field.
Note: This should only be used for testing or a temporary workaround to use Hotmail; it makes sites treat your browser as Safari 3. We hope to get the issue with user agent detection resolved with Hotmail so this step isn't needed.

The temp workaround will work - give it time - right now calendar is unavailable due to an upgrade and hotmail is next (for chat intergration and moving the ad from the top to the side).

Add a space between the existing text in the box, and the text you pasted in after it.
