Can't uninstall AVG.

So I had the free AVG but decided the hell with it and get Kaspersky, as I think there's a virus on my PC and at least one forum I use was hacked.

But it can't install because AVG is installed.

I removed it through add/remove programs and restarted, that didn't work. So I redownloaded the installer for AVG and reinstalled it and then used the installer to uninstall it and restarted, still Kaspersky won't install. Help?

Use Revo Uninstaller to remove it:

Download and Install Revo. Install AVG again, finish installing avg, open revouninstaller, select uninstall AVG, select the highest setting for revouninstaller

after the avg uninstaller finishes, click next in revo uninstaller, and let it finds it stuff, delete everything it finds

i use both kaspersky and max's.they are the top rated.
