Re: Anyone use Skydrive from Microsoft?
A while back, I compared a number of options including dropbox, google, and amazon, and ended up going with skydrive because of the large capacity. I have multiple photos, PDFs, and videos on there, so I'm glad to get back my 25 GB (though apparently I've used only 0.6 GB so far
). The 2 GB upload size will help a lot when working with videos. ![]()

Re: Anyone use Skydrive from Microsoft?
My question though is...where are some of you seeing this allotment of 2GB?? As a test I downloaded the new Ubuntu 12.04 LTS ISO yesterday at work and tried to upload to skydrive.....I received a message stating that it exceeded the 300MB limit (the file size was 700mb).

Re: Anyone use Skydrive from Microsoft?
Yeah, I claimed my 25GB of storage when they first made the change but I can still only upload max 300mb - I'm wondering if it just hasn't kicked in for me yet? There are no other places to make changes either.

Re: Anyone use Skydrive from Microsoft?
I think you have to use the Skydrive program to be able to do the 2GB uploads. Also, the program doesn't work for XP. It's 300MB from the web browser. Maybe Gladient can do the 2GB uploads.

Re: Anyone use Skydrive from Microsoft?
I just turned on the Skydrive program, copied a 2GB file to a Skydrive shared folder on the PC and it uploaded for a while and then told me it was up to date. Nothing showed up on Skydrive.

Maybe they're still working on the 2 GB file uploads. It wouldn't be the first time Marketing gets ahead of Engineering and Development.
