Looking for a "mini" type laptop. Opinions?

I'm in the market for a small laptop. Something I can travel with including in my Harley saddlebags. Primarily for connecting to the net, some of my specific needs are: light weight, durable, dvd, long lasting battery, will use either (or both) wireless N or maybe an Verizon wireless card.

Probably 9" screen as a minimum, preferably around 10" -12". Have been considering an ASUS but I know little about them.

Any suggestions or opinions based on your experiences?

Most of the "mini's" don't have a DVD/CD drive in them. Sony $$ TX series do, but are up to 10x the amount of some of the smaller minis out there.

The new Samsing NP10 looks interesting...

True about the dvd, I'll have to use an external. Googled the Samsung but can't find it. I'll keep searching.
