DVD Error Checking software?

I've got quite a few discs in my collection that aren't aging too well (long story), and discs that were once fine now skip on playback in certain parts. Usually taking them to get resurfaced does the trick, but I never really know which ones will skip until I watch them again. Seeing as I have over 500 discs, it's pretty infeasible to sit down and watch each and every one looking for defects. Is there any good software out there that checks for errors like this? That would definitely help out a lot. The only thing I've found on Google is error checking for copies of discs, which is not what I want.

Thanks!
