Why don't you want to upgrade? You're now 2 generations behind on Firefox, and there's over a year's worth of discovered security holes in your version. You're also behind on internet standards for rendering pages, and it's just going to get worse with time. Firefox is one of those rare programs that actually runs faster and better in each subsequent version. Unless you're still using Windows 95, I don't see a reason to stay with 1.5

Starting with FF2, they implemented a spellchecker.
Just saying.... for someone who is "pickie" about everything. ![]()

There's also other Winestripe themes available:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3479 Right now, it only works in Firefox 2, but at least you'd be up-to-date on security fixes until support for Firefox 2 drops mid-December. http://webdesigns.ms11.net/winstripethemes.html "Winstripe Classic" only works in Firefox 2. There's a "Winstripe Modern" theme on this site that, like Stratastripe, integrates some of the Winestripe theme with the "Strata" theme of Firefox 3. You can download more than one theme and switch between them to see which one fits your needs best. |
