Agree with all of these.

I've also had some fun with the South Park game and the Paper Football (yeah it's cheesy).

I also like the "Box Office" app.

REMOTE this is the most useful app I have used so far plus its free. Although I have a touch so useful to me might not be the same to an iphone user. I haven't paid for many mlb at bat is cool and worth the 5 bucks I think.

Box Office is cool too.

I like MLB at Bat.

I also got Disney's card games. I got it because it had hearts, which I love. So I spent $10 on it...and it sucks. Stay away. It's too hard to play.

Anybody know of any good ones being worked on? And do any of the weather apps have up to date radar?

I've been using the Pandora app. I saw that Last.FM has a similar app now.

I haven't played around with the apps much. Been too busy ripping and encoding DVDs for the phone, as well as making my own ringtones.

Thanks for all the responses!

Couple of questions:

What is the iNetworkTest?

How can I make ringtones for the iphone?

Inetwork test is a speed test for the network that you are on at the point. It is a little more useful when you are on a iphone because you can use it to check edge and 3 g speeds. But I use it sometimes on my home network it helps a little to diagnose speed issues.

Heh, I nagivated away from the page but it posted it anyway. I was wondering if the iTouch could be tethered to my Palm Centro through Sprint (bluetooth?) and get 3G speeds that way.

I want But I'd paying at least $60 a month for what I can get for $30 with Sprint. Still I want

Um deb guessing what the rest of your question is yes the touch can use most of these apps, but many you need to be connected to a network but not all of them. Or maybe there was no question I don't know

If you're into the markets, I'd suggest the free Bloomburg applicatoin over the native "Stock" application. Plus the charts go fullscreen when you rotate to landscape.

The iPod Touch doesn't have bluetooth, so that form of tethering is completely out. No sort of usb connection exists at the moment either:
http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho....php?p=1801263

You could get a Cradlepoint router to turn your Palm's 3G into a wifi hotspot, and then connect the iPod Touch to the wifi network. However, that's a bit convoluted for a portable connection, even though Cradlepoint has battery-powered model:

Once you get past the control issue, Monkey Ball is a lot of fun.

I'll give another nod of support to Trism, definitely worth $5.

I still can't get the travelocity app to work, though, it won't let me log in, so it can't retrieve my trips.

Now that the phone is affordable enough for a wider audience, a new status symbol has emerged: a seemingly useless application called I Am Rich.

Its function is exactly what the name implies: to alert people that you have money in the bank. I Am Rich was available for purchase from the phone's App Store for, get this, $999.99 -- the highest amount a developer can charge through the digital retailer, said Armin Heinrich, the program's developer.

Once downloaded, it doesn't do much -- a red icon sits on the iPhone home screen like any other application, with the subtext "I Am Rich." Once activated, the user is treated to a large, glowing gem. That's about it. For a thousand dollars.

Apple, which didn't respond to requests for comment, apparently had some problems with I Am Rich. After initially approving it for distribution, the company has since removed it from the store.

According to the article, eight people bought it.

The AIM app needs a little work, but it is Ok for now.

Love the Remote, I said that in another thread. I also have this baseball stat app that is great...I have a co-worker who loves to throw (and find) out random baseball stats.

And after seeing the pics above, I could use that iNetwork one.

The network one works good if you have big area and are trying to figure out the best connection
