What is the best resolution for a 20 inch monitor?
What is the best ratio to use for a 20 inch widescreen monitor. I just recently purchased a samsung 206BW.I believe it was 1680-1050 as a native resolution. I am currently using 1600x900. Is this correct?
Also if im using the DVI imput do i still need to use the other input? Sorry if i sound like a newb. This is my first LCD monitor. ![]() |

If it's native resolution is 1680 x 1050 then you should have it set on 1680 x 1050.

For LCDs, always use the native resolution. Anything else will look foolish.
For CRTs, use what looks best to you. |

Yeah, you'll be getting the blurries if you don't use the LCD's native resolution, though I have seen some do a pretty good job of scaling other resolutions.

Native resolution, and for the other question, stick with DVI.
