RFID remote control. Possible?

I recently invested in this shiny new lock:

It uses a RFID card/keychain to move the deadbolt back and forth. When I'm watching Lost I do not want to get up and answer the door would it be possible to unlock the door via remote? I know how cards work; its a proximity thing where a code thats been programmed into the card but could that be access via remote? Kinda like a car door?
My other not so techy method is to create a complex system of levees and and pulleys that would lower a card into the range of the lock and unlock the door.
I know, all for the sake of not leaving the couch.
I want to fight, I want to fight. I want to prove I'm right.

Sorry to threadcrap, but I don't have any ideas other than your pulley system.

Maybe you should have invested in a DVR instead.

How about just leaving the door unlocked for an hour?
