Hi,
i am using a firewire pci card to transfer my video to my pc to burn into DVD. but the transfer sucks. the video was choppy and it hang momentarily on some occasions. what accounts for the bad transfer of video file? is the cup speed a major issue? i am using a P3 667 MHZ. Pls advise. thanks |

If you're doing an MPEG conversion at the same time you're doing the transfer I would think your CPU isn't fast enough.
You would have better luck if you could capture in AVI form (I assume the video was originally in that form?) and convert later. |
