Can anyone recomend a DUAL Athlon board.
Hey all. I am currently running an Athlon thunderbird 1.4 ghz processor board that is I believ socket A type and was looking to possibly go with a dual board and chip setup. Looking to upgrade processor as well since these days, 1.4 barely cuts it with some software.
Any thoughts?

I haven't really delved into the AMD world, but I know that nforce2 chipsets are the best when building an AMD system.

www.anandtech.com front page and forums ... do a search about going dual-proc and you'll find a ton of opinions.
You may be better off spending the same money on an Athlon64 and board unless you use specific programs that can take advantage of dual-procs ... last time I checked.
