Since 802.11b has been a standard for some years now, most, if not all, manufacturers have worked out the compatibility issues that used to exist when mixing-n-matching different brands in a wireless network. Therefore, you should
be able to pop in another 802.11b card to your laptop and have it work fine with your D-Link router.

Can I just change to another makers card and still use it with the D-link wireless router?
Or shall I just get a new card?
Sorry, I must be a bit slow today but what's the difference between these two questions?
