Converting Analog Video to Digital Video

I'm planning on buying an iMac soon, but my camcorder is Super VHS. So I want to buy a converter. The one I've been looking at is the DataVideo DAC-100 for around 200 bucks. Can anyone shed some light on this situation or reccomend another converter?

Just make sure the iMac accepts firewire connections. I've been staring at this unit myself lately because I want to backup my LDs to DVDs.

The only place the Pricewatch had listed as selling it was "Harmony computers" for $181 delivered.
