Refurbished motherboard on pricewatch

Has anyone ever bought anything refurbished like a motherboard? This Asus A7N8X Deluxe is only 59 bucks which would really save me some money compared to a new one for around 118. Is it worth it? It's off newegg.com. Please let me know if this is a good buy or a waste of my time. Thanks.

The biggest problem is it's an OEM part. No CD with drivers, no manual, no accessories. I think you can download the manual and drivers from Asus, but it would be a good idea to check first.

Newegg rocks! Seriously, their refurbs are famous (not infamous, you cynical DVDTalkers!). Although folks sometimes do get accessories with refurb motherboards and video cards at Newegg, they make no secret of the fact that all you're guaranteed to get is the mobo/card itself. With that particular motherboard, it's my understanding that you will almost always get a bare board in a white box (refurbish box from Asus), no cables/connectors/discs. Tons of people still order and are very happy with that board (read the customer reviews by clicking on the rating stars). I've had great experiences with the numerous refurb items I've gotten from Newegg and highly recommend them.

The A7N8X is a really, really good board. It is worth the full price. I'd suggest paying it rather than taking the risk with a used one.

I bought a used All-in-Wonder from Newegg once. They sent the wrong output cable with it, and never replied to my e-mails asking about correcting the problem-- I would NOT buy used from them again.
