Outlook Experts....disaster has struck...help!
Email gone...
I have a rule set up where it moves email from my inbox on the Exchange server to a local .pst on my PC hard drive. When I logged in this morning I saw I had about 50 emails and the rule started moving emails. It moved about half the emails and then froze. It froze so bad that I had to POR my PC. When I look in the folder the email is not there and it is also not in the inbox on the server. I have gone through every folder and pst I have looking for the mail with no luck. It has to be there somewhere but where? There are no filters on any of the folders or any other rules that would keep me from seeing them...they are just gone. Any ideas? Thanks! |

If it's a pst then do a search for a file called scanpst. It's a utility to fix corrupted pst files. As a safety measure make a second copy of your pst and run scanpst on that. Then import it back into your email.
