Buring Track Names with Nero?
I'm new to burning discs. I have Nero 5.5 What I want to do is burn the disc so it includes all the track names. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

At the burning menu..
select the AUDIO-CD tab. Ensure that the "Write CD Text on CD" is selected. To enter the names of the tracks... right click on the track... click properties... enter title. if it's a MP3 with the ID3 tag entered, it will import that information... |

Thanks for the reply. Tried to burn another disc. Made sure "Write CD Text on CD" was selected. Edited all the track names. Checked the disc with Windows Media Player, still getting unknown album and just track numbers. Am I still missing something? I'm burning as disc-at-once. Should this be track-at-once? And what is the difference?

It sounds like you're burning an audio CD, not an MP3 cd (as I suspected, and probably jrobinson also suspected)...
The CD info (album title, track listing) in that case are NOT actually stored on the CD; rather, they are obtained from an online resource like CDDB. If you're not using a legit cd (or direct copy thereof), chances are the disc info will not be found in CDDB. |
