How do I ship a video card?

I'm planning on mailing a video card I'm selling on ebay. It's still in its original packaging, but are there any precautions I need to make? Do I need to buy a special box for packaging?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The original box should be fine as long as the video card is snug in place. It'd be easiest to use Priority boxes (since they're free) and stuff some newspaper to keep the video card box in place.

I'd recommend you put the card in an electrostatic bag first, and then in the box. And make sure there's foam padding in the bag as well. That's how they usually are when you buy them, but there may be some dodgy dealers out there who don't pack them this way.

Yes. you should do so, but i assumed that the original packing included the electrostatic bag.

I always put newspaper into the priority mail boxes to brace whatever I put in there. It's cheap and it works pretty good. Just crunch it a little and stick it in there.

The video card is in the box...inside the box, the actual card is in a tough, greyish bag. Is that an electro bag? Again, it's the original packaging.
