Need help with ATI All-in-wonder and Ulead Videostudio 4.01 software

I'm using this software for the first time to try and and capture video from a vcr. I have everything hooked up correctly between the vcr and the video card. When I try to capture using the Videostudio software all I get is static, not the image on the tape. Any ideas? I am running this with Win 2k.

Edited to say that I am now capturing video from the vcr, but I'm not sure about the audio. I selected video crossbar properties and changed the input to composite which is what I am using. I captured some video, but when I play it back I don't hear anything.

Update:

I've got sound and video. However, whenever I begin to capture video, I only get the first two minutes or so. After that, when I review it, all I have is a black screen with no sound. The first two minutes look great and I have converted it into an MPEG. I obviously don't know what is causing this problem.

I have an AMD 1.3 gig processor with 512 meg of memory and a 40 gig hard drive.

Has anyone had any experience with this software and can you offer any suggestions?
