sound sut-ff after 3-5 min !!! ARGH !!!
Hi,
I have a pioneer DVD-ROM drive. I am using PowerDVD 3.0 software decoder. When I play a movie the sound cuts-off after about 3-4 min of continuous play. I upgraded the firmware, drivers, codecs, etc. I have no idea what is wrong. I may purchase a hardware decoder like Real Hollywood Magic Plus. Will this help the situation? I am not sure if it is a hardware of software problem? Thanks. Vince |

What model Pioneer drive? Are you playing the movie on your monitor or on a TV? Is your sound on your computer, TV, or through a receiver? What is the configuration of your computer - CPU and speed, sound card, etc.? Do you have a full version of PowerDVD, not a demo version?

Is it under warranty? Can you return it for exchange?
