Apple to discontinue all CRT Monitors - exclusively LCD flat panel by July

Supposedly, LCD panels are not good for high end graphics work, but in my highly unscientific test of looking around at Office Depot over lunch, I thought that the Viewsonic 15 inch flat panel on display had much better color and crispness than the regular CRT monitors on display. I've seen Apple's 15 inch LCD, and it is excellent.

Hopefully this is an indication that LCD prices will be going down across the board.
