I know it's a dumb question, but... can they? I assume they can, and ya just need to get software that can play it, right?
So, if this is the case, is there any software out there that plays DVD-Audio? |

Never saw any software that could do that -- yet.
I think the industry would discourage it as they do not want that music copied. That's why the players output decoded analog signals, not a digital stream to be decoded by the receiver. |

Most DVD-Roms will play DVD-Audio Discs, as will most DVD Players. You just won't get the High quality audio or Special Video content. It will be Dolby Digital or DTS.
