Amazon Prime as a byproduct of wanting free shipping.

Plus whatever I'm paying for Amazon Prime.

I modified my accounts slightly to take advantage of some student discounts and upgraded my Netflix to a 4 user account.

Netflix - $12/mo
Hulu - $2.50/mo
Amazon Prime - $4.17/mo
Spotify - $5/mo

The fiancee has Netflix. I have an Amazon Prime subscription, but technically I got that for the shipping and before Prime Video showed up.

Is there a student discount for Hulu? Do tell.

Naw, bought a 12 month gift card off eBay for $30, comes out to $2.50/month. I cheated.

Re: How much do you spend on streaming services?

I've cut back for the moment on streaming services. Except for Amazon Prime, I've stopped all the others. Trying to play catch up with my extensive back catalog in place of streaming.

Re: How much do you spend on streaming services?

Radio Shack had a promo around a year ago, where you could get 6 months of Netflix with any phone, computer, or tablet purchase.

I was surprised when prepaid phones qualified for the promo and they allowed a maximum of 10 offers per customer.

I paid around $225 for 10 Radio Shack junker phones and got around $480 in credit applied toward my Netflix account--around 5 years worth.

I don't know how Radio Shack stays in business.

I was also able to purchase a couple 123 month subscriptions to Hulu+ off Ebay for around $32 per year.

Netflix - 7.99/month
Amazon - 72/year (with the awards deal) (mostly for shipping, but I've streamed a little bit - Student Bodies is on now!)

Yeah Qello is pretty nice, it's like having an on demand, multi-channel version of Palladia
