Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
Here's a preview of the upcoming Thanksgiving Sale. Prices probably won't be reduced until Tuesday.
Lots of recent movies for $9.99. Older titles are $4.99-$7.99. A bunch of $0.99 rentals. And TV Seasons for $9.99-$19.99 and current seasons for $29.99.
http://www.vudu.com/movies/#uiPage/179
I might pick-up HBO's Band Of Brothers and The Pacific for $19.99 each.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
There's a main sale page with links to about 7-8 sales. There were $9.99 recent releases. Then pages for $6.99, $5.99 and $4.99. There were pages for TV Seasons at $29.99 (current shows), $19.99 and $9.99. There was also a page for bundles under $19.99. And a page for $0.99 rentals.
UPDATE - It seems to work if you copy/paste the link into your browser.

Vudu links are weird. Sometimes they work fine, and other times they just redirect to the main page. It was working yesterday.

Not nearly as good as I'd hoped, but some titles I'm sure that I'll buy.
The big one for me is Clouds of Sils Maria. I was actually thinking of buying that tonight because I'm tired of waiting for a possible USA bd release.
Much better to be getting it later this week for $6.99.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
I didn't see anything in this thread, and maybe I've missed it elsewhere, but Walmart has been offering $5.00 VUDU credit with their Marketplace take and bake pizzas. They're included with the boxes that have either Jurassic World or Minions on 'em. There is a limit of three $5.00 credits per account, but they're two different promos; I've successfully added three JW credits plus one Minions. Ergo, you can actually wind up with three of each for a total of $30 VUDU credit. (Once added, the credits can be spent on anything; you don't have to apply them toward purchasing either of those movies.) Just be sure to check your pizza before leaving the store that the promo card with the code hasn't been swiped.
I've been favoring their XL 5-cheese pizza. It's the cheapest that includes a code ($6.98 here), and it makes a fairly decent base if I want to throw in any toppings of my own.
Jurassic World credits are valid through 2/8/16.
Minions credits are valid through 3/28/16.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
After you've reached your account limit, you can sell the extra codes for around $2.50 each (or trade them for UV codes). I can never find the pizzas with codes in my local Walmart. But I often buy the credit codes for around 40%-50% of the face value.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
MGO is offering 10% Off Everything for Cyber Monday.
Use code "get10"
https://www.mgo.com/
The code can probably only work once per person and only on 1 item. I don't know for sure, but that's how the coupons codes worked in the past.
If the movie is UV-compatible at both MGo and Vudu, it will transfer over to your Vudu account. I've bought a few movies at MGO, and it works fine. It sometimes takes a few hours to transfer. But you have to make sure it has the UV logo at both sites, because sometimes it's UV-compatible at one site, but not the other.

I have been accumulating points on the Viggle app in the hopes they'll have physical rewards again (it's how I got my Apple TV), but it looks like it's going pretty much exclusively digital with MGo.
I didn't want another account with another digital service, but I used your trick to get movies I can watch through Vudu. Looks like it works; an hour after I redeemed points in MGo, both movies showed in my Vudu library.

Can't go wrong with that...watching it now
I'll probably buy Everest too...never caught it in theaters.

6 film Tarantino collection for $26.99. And most new releases like The Martian, Everest, Sicario, and several others are $14.99. Just about all of them have significant extras. The Martian has 10 featurettes. Probably the same content that will be on the upcoming blu.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
I spent about $150 total on VUDU during this deal time...
$20 for the entire Little House on the Prairie series...all seasons for $20 total. I haven't watched Little House in years...
I also picked up the Friends Series. $110 total. It's normally $187 or something. I only have my original discs from years and years ago and a few were getting scratched pretty good. I figured I'll get my moneys worth over the years as I watch Friends about 1x per year...all the way through. And now its at my fingertips instead of changing discs all the time.
I watched The Martian featurettes. Some were pretty good...some were short.
Lots of good deals if you're a VUDU fan. I sure am....up to about 460 movies/shows.
