Which app? Is this one built into the TV? Because those almost uniformly suck.

FREE $5 CREDIT

Use code: SQUAREDCIRCLE

This $5 credit will stack with the 20% Off coupon. I used both promos to get The Americans: Season 1-4 for $35.

This is dead now for those who haven't redeemed it yet (20,000 redemptions I believe). If you did redeem it and just didn't spend it, no issue. I'm still trying to find what I want with the ole stack. *ponder ponder*

Edit: Bought Abandoned Season 1. The first episode (should still be free) was interesting enough for me, and an upcoming episode is about Carolina abandoned Nascar tracks which will probably be pretty sad for me since I grew up there and attended a few of the races. I'm not a fan of Nascar by any stretch, heck I don't even like the sport. But I do remember being at a few of the races with my dad and that brings up all sorts of memories.

So the season came to 64 cents after taxes and that used both the 20% coupon and the $5 off.

I redeemed it but haven't spent it yet. However, The Infiltrator for $6.99 is pretty appealing:

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I was holding out hope for some political sale given the date, but I ended up making my own with the 20% off and $5 credit and picked up Commander in Chief for $6.99. Not as good as West Wing, from my recollection, but still enjoyable.

(I pretty much narrowed it down between that, Dead Zone season 2 and Alien Nation)

I have massive trouble with my Smart TV VUDU app. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon work fine. It drives me nuts.

It's 1:30 in the morning, I'm completely sober, and laughing like an idiot at the TGM/OldBoy exchange that I missed until now. Sometimes DVDTalk is still awesome.

Thanks for the heads up on Abandoned: Season 1. I watched the first episode since it was free, and it was pretty interesting. So I bought the rest of the season.

Are there any other good shows in that Vice sale?

Not that I know of, but Abandoned looks like it has the best reviews among the other Viceland shows. The others look downright abysmal and don't even come close to sparking my interest.

A little Vudu related PSA for this morning...got this UK code for Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders...and Tunnelbear was just not working for me this morning...so on a whim I tried thru regular Vudu redemption, and it worked. Bizarre, I never expected it...but good deal. I really did not want to mess with another UK proxy.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

There's some great prices on FOX TV bundles:

24: Seasons 1-9 $69.99
American Horror Story: Seasons 1-4 $39.99
The Americans: Seasons 1-4 $39.99
Burn Notice: Seasons 1-7 $39.99
Glee: Season 1-6 $39.99
The League: Seasons 1-7 $39.99
The X-Files: Seasons 1-10 $69.99

I grabbed the Glee bundle for $32 using a 20% Off coupon.

Burn Notice is awesome just for the record, I gladly own the complete series. Bought it when it was $40 before with discounted credits. Ended up spending around ~$27 w/tax when all said and done.

I would jump on X-Files in a second, but that show (mini-series included) was always so uneven. One great, one middlin episode, one crappy episode, so on and so forth. Good stuff though.

Edit: White Collar Bundle (S1-S6) is also $39.99. I've seen a few episodes of it and it's not bad. It ran around the same time as Burn Notice and on the same channel (USA), so naturally I know a little bit about it. Speaking of USA, too bad there is not a Psych bundle, I would seriously considering buying that (at a good price) and ditching my dvds.

White Collar is tempting, I really liked that show. And since there's zero chance of getting the series on blu (except for one season), I may go for that.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

The Americans is my favorite show on TV. I have S1 on Blu Ray, then they stopped producing it on Blu. Tempted to buy the series, but will probably wait since I've already seen them all and the series has two more seasons to run (and it streams on Amazon Prime).

You guys like Burn Notice, huh? I've never seen it. What's it like? Is it lighthearted? Action-packed?
Is it worth a blind-buy?

Yes, yes, and yes, to Burn Notice. Very cool, slick, and funny show. Had I blind bought it, I would have loved it.

All of the above. It really is a smooth, funny show, full of action, you actually feel like you are learning a bit about being a spy/fbi agent (even though you probably are not), and it's no surprise that it lasted 7 seasons. And if you like Bruce Campbell at all, it's certainly worth it. Yes, he's a supporting character but he's well involved in every episode. It might be Jeffery Donovan and Gabrielle Anwar's show, but he steals every scene he is in. Criminally underrated in my opinion.

Really annoyed at this Watchlist situation with Vudu. Not only can you only keep 20, but if not viewed they seem to disappear after awhile. Down to 14 for unknown reasons. Really sucks because I forget the movies I want to see...

It's funny you mentioned that. I was just telling my mom to give up paper. She still prints out and uses MapQuest directions...and she has a perfectly great navigation system in her Acura! She got lost the other day going somewhere because she couldn't read the print

Stranger that that (to prove it's not just you)....my (this is Vudu on XB1 btw) watchlist actually grows by itself. Now it's obviously a bug because it will for example add an episode of Arrow, but shows that it's already 98% complete. But I know I watched it. One day its Arrow, one day its Big Bang Theory, one day its something else. It's truly bizarre.

Good god, yes. If I could be allowed folders (even just a few), it would be so tidy, it would so much more efficient. That and I could separate at the very least the 1 episode TV things I have from the stuff I actually have full seasons of. But its a pipe dream I suppose. I had to wait over a year on XB1 to just get sorting and filtering...lol.

Create an account on IMDB. You can add movies to a watchlist. Just click on the plus sign to the left of the movie title.
