Vudu just added a Sorting feature to the My Movies section. It's similar to the sorting on the Roku and PS3. In the forum, they said the Android app also got updated. And they're working on getting it implemented on the iOS app.

There's a thread on the Vudu Forum about some D2D movies that are no longer UV-compatible. The movies are still available on Vudu. But they've been removed from Ultraviolet accounts which means they are no longer available through Flixster or CinemaNow.

Here's the list of movies so far:

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
There's Something About Mary: Extended Edition
The Hills Have Eyes: Unrated

This shouldn't be happening. Once you own an Ultraviolet movie, those rights don't expire. However, neither Vudu or Ultraviolet are taking responsibility, and customer service has been unable to fix the problem.

Movies being removed is why I've said a billion times that this is NOT a suitable replacement for owning discs or any other media! But if these are still available on Vudu, I don't know why anyone would want to use CinemaNow instead anyways, as their quality and interface just plain suck. My first few redeemed Ultraviolet movies were showing up on CinemaNow for a while in addition to Vudu, but the last few I've redeemed haven't. They only play on CinemaNow with 2-channel sound anyways while Vudu has 5.1, and I swear every time I bring up CinemaNow just to look through what they have, the slowness and general lack of info just makes me want to scream. They have the exact same user interface design as the defunct Blockbuster app, which I don't miss one bit.
