The Boy Who Could Fly...remembered liking it more then rather than now.
The Secret of My Success...one of my guilty pleasures. Love MJF back then, and now, but more back then. Also, love the cheesy David Foster soundtrack.

I Am Not A Serial Killer (Netflix) - Old school late night style flick. A very well produced low budget, low key horror flick about a young borderline personality guy, his family morgue business, and a serial killer. Stars Max Records, Christopher Lloyd and Laura Fraser. Felt like I was watching a new late 80s flick with modern effects, I liked it.

yeah, i was going to say this was the first of the "I see dead people" movies, but this was actually released a few months later than SS. I did like SS more, but this was equally as stirring.

Ouija: Origin of Evil...not half bad once it gets going after the 40 minute mark. Surprised me. No real jump scares or anything, but it was pretty creepy and the ambiance created was well done.

The Girl on the Train. Girlfriend wanted to see it so I bought it on VUDU. Not a bad flick. I picked out the ending a bit ahead of time but there were some nice twists and turns.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back...this was so amateurish. I can't believe Zwick or Cruise made something like this. These baddies were caricatures. The coincidences were preposterous and telegraphed. Too bad. Really loved the first.

I rented and streamed The Handmaiden on Vudu Saturday night, and it's shot to a tied-for-first-place ranking on my Best of 2016 list. (For the record, it's tied with Everybody Wants Some!!, which I've seen three times now.) My big complaint is that The Handmaiden seems to only be available on DVD--I can't find a Region 1 Blu-ray release anywhere. Maybe Criterion could rectify this situation? If not, I'm going to buy the Vudu copy.
Last night, a Harry Nilsson song popped into my head, so I figured that it would be a good time to watch Who is Harry Nilsson (and Why Is Everybody Talkin' About Him?) on Amazon Prime. It was quite good, and there was a LOT of great music in it. It reminded me that I need to pick up a CD of Nilsson Sings Newman.

The Cutting Edge...i always remember liking this one. Moira Kelly was cute and she had ok chemistry with D.B. Sweeney. it's cheesy and so cliche, but it's fun. don't know what made me put it on actually. it was just there in Vudu for free with ads, i think in the Valentine's section. i've wanted to see it again so i just popped it on. the ads are a minor nuisance and when i stopped the movie it didn't show up in my watchlist, so i found it again and played more ads. still a fun movie.

Re: Last movie/TV show you streamed?
Thanks, OldBoy! I checked it out, and $28 is a bit pricey for me at the moment, so I went ahead and bought it on Vudu for about half that. The digital copy will tide me over until either the Canadian disc's price drops a bit or it gets released in the US on Blu.

Justice League Dark...awesome movie. Really well done and good action. Simple story. Good voice acting. Better one in a long time.
