Regarding The Following

I watched all 3 seasons on TV and you may be aware that it was cancelled and unfortunately:

Spoiler:
The story ends incomplete. They set up a 4th season in the season 3 finale.

Nevertheless, it was still entertaining and very graphic for a network TV serial drama.

Darn it Would you suggest to just forget it or go for it? Too bad they don't post how they were thinking of ending it.

Cool, glad to see Madam Secretary making it's way there. I watched 6 or 7 episodes, but stopped due to how busy Sundays were. I do want to get back into it since it's coming back for a 2nd season next month and Morgan Freeman will be on it, but I didn't want to binge it on CBS All Access with all those commercials.

With hundreds of hours of other shows out there, I personally wouldn't invest the time. I mean to invest 45 episodes for a show that has no ending would be considered a waste of time by most.

I'm torn behind something like POI 1-4 and finally doing The X-Files 1-9. That would take 3 months of an hour a day.

I'd watch Person of Interest. It's still on the air and entering it's 5th season, which is expected to be it's last.

X-Files has a 10th season airing on FOX this January, but that's going to be a really long and difficult watch if you want to try to catch up in the next 5 months to make it in time. It's possible, but you're going to be staying up late a lot.

Person of Interest is a much shorter time investment if you want to catch up in time for it's new season. It's 4 22-23 episode seasons.

TXF would only take 3 months at 1 hr a day I watch streaming while I work out on the bike.

202 episodes to be exact. You better get started ASAP if you want to be caught up by the season 10 premiere in January.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

The thing with investing in a show of that length is that you miss out on everything else. I.e. I'd love to watch Narcos. But I've tried to watch an ep here and there while watching other stuff and it does deter from it and I forget things that happened. Sigh decisions decisions.....

Watch it. As ludicrous as it was at times, the series as a whole was a relatively "enjoyable" ride. And as for
Spoiler:
the ending being incomplete

that's not entirely accurate.

Spoiler:
The third season finale essentially wraps up the three season "arc" sorts that had been established. What it does, however, is lend itself to a fourth season, should it have been renewed. The way it ends, though, makes it easy to imagine what would have happened.

Watch the show. They're shorter seasons, and you'll be done in a month.

FWIW, I'm actually working my way through it right now, and I've found it a hard show to binge. It has not aged too well, in my opinion. 2 episodes and I'm bored and ready for something different. Maybe that changes further in, as I'm still in the first half of season 2.

I've tried to binge it 2-3 times before without success whereas I devour OITNB and GOT. GOT took me less than 2 months for 50 eps which is 40 minutes every single day.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

Just added according to Instantwatcher.com
Dear White People (2014 dir. Justin Simien) this is a Lionsgate film (Epix) so it may be removed by the end of the month. It's also available on Amazon
Midaq Alley [El Callejón de los Milagros] (1995 dir. Jorge Fons) Netflix exclusive
The Vampire's Coffin (1958 dir. Fernando Mendez) Netflix exclusive. this is actually a sequel to El Vampiro, which isn't on Netflix
All three of these are streaming in HD.

The Blacklist season 2 is now on Netflix.

If any of you spaced out for whatever reason during last season and didn't finish it, here's your chance. The 3rd season doesn't premiere until October 1st

I watched season 1 on ABC last season, but told my Mother about it. Now she's interested in seeing it. It's good that it's a short season too at only 15 episodes. It will make it easier for her to binge it before season 2 starts.

Very fun and super over the top show. I know several posters have complained that there's way too much content out there and not enough time, but this show is worth checking out if you like a good who done it.

Now that it won a big Emmy, my curiosity is piqued. Almost done with S1 of POI... as soon as that's done, this will be next, or in-between seasons if I start to burn out.
