Even if it did it'd be back in a month, just like Fringe Season 5 (which will be available Sept 12th). Of course, it makes more sense for it to be available before Season 3 begins on ABC.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

Few noteworthy titles have gone up:

The Brass Teapot - An overly long but entertaining little movie about a teapot that spits out money when the owners are inflicted with pain.

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/OVxaLSOKNtc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

There Will Be Blood - Nice to have on there, though I'm sure most people on this site have seen it by now.

Zoolander - Gasoline Fight!

Men in Black - Still one of Will's best.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Requiem for a Dream, The Core, 50 First Dates, Dredd (2012), Wargames (1983), The People Under the Stairs, The 4400 (Season 1 - 4), Penny Dreadful, Saturday Night Fever, The Seven Year Itch, The Possession (2012), Our Idiot Brother, The Road, A Haunted House, The League Season 4

Their streaming of Dredd seems to be cropped down to 1.78 .

And only available in "HD" as opposed to their "SuperHD" like everything else that's recent. Odd.

Netflix seem to be developing an increasingly bad habit of cropping things.

I read an article on how a lot of movies that have this problem. Enough people report the issue and Netflix fixes the ratio.

They're going back and fixing movies here and there, it's nothing new - been this way from the get go almost.

Just noticed they added Terrence Malick's To the Wonder.

I also started to watch Aftershock last night, which stars (and was co-written by) Eli Roth--that might be a positive or a negative for you (I'm ambivalent) and is supposed to be a super-gory disaster flick, if you're into those kinds of things.

Room 237, the documentary that offers lots of theories and whatnot on the meaning of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, was added recently. Seem to recall it got quite a bit of praise when it came out earlier this year.

I watched Aftershock. Not terrible and had some good disaster FX for such a small budget. Not going to spoil anything, but it plays out differently ( more brutal) than I anticipated. I don't regret watching it.

Talk about damning with faint praise.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

That's awesome that Warner Brothers is adding a lot of their recent TV catalogue to Netflix.

It will hopefully help the show find more viewers.

More studios and networks need to do this. It will only help their shows. I know CBS is kind of assholes with their shows and refuse to put their currently airing shows on Netflix.
