Today I received e-mails informing me that two of my orders shipped today. However, I already received these orders a couple weeks ago! I originally paid for these orders completely with gift certificates. The new e-mails don't mention gift certificates on them, only a total amount for the order. This happen to anybody else? I e-mailed Amazon and am waiting for their response.

Same thing happened to me today.

I have no clue what's going on.

I checked my old mail and looks like I never received these shipping confirmation emails so it seems to just be mail that should have been sent before. Probably a fur ball in their mail server that either got cleared out or a hiccup.

Well from the order history, it shows that the duplicate items were shipped today, along with a new tracking number. My payment method still just shows gift certificate, so I don't see how I could be charged for the second order. If they want the stuff back, I'll send it back. If not, I've got some gifts for the relatives

Got an email today that my copy of Planes Trains & Automobiles shipped out
today.

Come to think of it, I never did receive an
email when it actually shipped out on the release date.

I'm wondering if I really will get another copy delivered?

Maybe they're just catching up on their "Your Order Has Been Shipped" Emails?

Wouldn't be the first time I've received an email saying my item has just shipped when I've already received it The original order was paid entirely with GC's and I've just checked my GC balance and nothing has been removed so if I do receive another copy, it's a freebie.

I got 2 e-mails for the same order. However, I double checked the tracking number on the more recent e-mail and it IS the same as the original, so I think it's just a case of the e-mails being sent out twice.

Add me to the list. Got a deja vu email, too. Not that I wouldn't mind another copy of Gladiator and the rest that I got, but the UPS tracking number on this email is the one from the original shipment (same as you, trigun).

I'm not counting on any surprise packages.

Got same messages..my X-men and Gladiator orders now say complete whereas they said open before. If Amazon did end up sending double orders, it's not going to help their cash flow any!!

I got an email confirmation about X-men. It says it was shipped earlier this past week. I already got my original order, so I hope this is a mistake. I'm going to keep it as an "apology" for Amazon's f*uck ups on my Mission Impossible 2 disc.

I think this happened b/c the other day they crashed for like 40 minutes. I got 2 old confirmations also, so maybe it was just their screwed up computers.
