Wondering if I should ask seller to reimburse for shipping. Bought a vintage Levi's denim jacket which was listed as a men's large. Took the seller a week to even ship because they were 'out of town'. The jacket ended up being a women's large. Cost $13 to ship it back. Seller basically said I should be happy they are even accepting a return being that they had posted 'no returns' in the description. What does everyone think???

If it was their error, then yes they should offer to pay return shipping.

Did you ship it back already? If the item didn't match what was listed and the seller is being difficult, open a case with ebay. You shouldn't be responsible for anything if they clearly sent you the wrong item.

You're not supposed to pay for the return shipping the seller takes all responsibility. If they had it listed in the men's category and it was a women's jacket it's not your fault.

OP did you pay for return shipping? If so contact ebay to reimburse you.

Call Ebay CS. You shouldn't lose a penny on their error.

Ebay doesn't force the seller to pay for return shipping but Ebay may give you back the shipping cost as a one time reimbursement. It's really between you and the seller so if you're unhappy with paying the return shipping you can let them know that it will affect what type of feedback you leave for them. Just be careful how you word it so they can't report you for trying to blackmail them.

Yes i paid return shipping, i didnt really have a choice. According to the tracking number, the item shouldve returned to the seller today. I just contacted her asking if she received the jacket and to let me know when the refund was issued. I also politely told her if she still refuses to reimburse for shipping that I was going to contact ebay or paypal. This is obviously a new ebay user. She has a fdbk rating of 75% & only 2 users have left fdbk. Maybe ill send her a link to this thread if she still doesnt think she has to reimburse shipping..

Btw, heres the fkd up part. I attempted to open a case bc it originally took the seller a few days to respond. When I did so, I received a msg from ebay stating "bc you paid for this item as a guest user on paypal, you must use paypals resolution center to dispute this."..or something along those lines. When I went to my paypal account, the item is nowhere to be found so I had to call them up. Apparently, I forgot to sign into paypal before paying for the item which is odd because I used a direct transfer from my bank account.
