I know you can do this at Amazon, but can you cancel a preorder from 800.com as well?
What about if you used a GC.....will they allow you to use it on a different item as long as it is not expired?

I dont think 800.com does cancellations. Best to check with them or read the policy page. Although I did once get them to cancel an order it wasnt easy but I had proof that I was lied to by a CSR and I would not go away.

I have called up to cancel orders from 800.com, but I don't know what their policy is on GCs. My cancelled order had a coupon applied to it and they let me reuse the coupon on another order. I don't see why they wouldn't let you use a GC on something else. I also just had them cancel a preorder without me telling them to do it. I was angry since they raised the price of the item, and I bought it through Marketplace.com to get a rebate. I had to call them to reinstate the order.
